There is a new spirit, giving renewed vigour to the "Grand Century" ambience of what was once the home of a leading Aubusson manufacturer. It has retained from those days all of its grandeur and elegance, complete with pendant chandeliers, coasts-of-arms and tapestries providing their historical distinction. The decoration is a tribute to the place, where furniture revisits the style, occasionaly slipping in a contemporary touch. The guest rooms are huge and with a bent for rich fabrics : chocolate-coloured on the first floor, natural hues on the second... Retro bathrooms are bedecked in Egyptian marble. One becomes the weather's plaything when strolling in the winter garden or beneath the restaurant's large glass roof.
